Sensor Components in High-Performance Ceramics

The mechanical properties, oxygen conductivity as well as microwave properties of our specially developed FRIALIT-DEGUSSIT Oxide Ceramics make them indispensable in a wide range of sensor technology applications.

The ceramic sensors are characterised by low hysteresis of the measured signals down to 0.5 ‰, allowing for high repeatability of the measurement results. Due to the high-frequency properties of the specialist grades of aluminium oxide DEGUSSIT AL23hf and FRIALIT F99.7hf, microwaves can be focused more precisely than when using other materials, e.g. glass or plastic. The components can be directly contacted by means of a metal coating.
