Ceramic Insulators and Insulating Tubes for High Voltage Applications

Insulators and insulating tubes made of FRIALIT F99.7 and F99.7hf can be manufactured with convolutions and can be glazed on the outside. The convolution increases the surface leak-path or flashover distance and allows an increased voltage when used in air. Glazing allows handling and easier cleaning of the components.

If required, they can be fitted into different flanges, such as CF, KF or COF.

Depending on their design, these insulation tubes are also suitable for cryogenic applications using liquid helium or liquid nitrogen. Temperature range: -271 °C to 450 °C.  All insulators and insulation tubes are routinely tested for vacuum tightness before despatch: He leakage rate: < 10-9 mbar l/s.
