Ceramic Feedthroughs for Vacuum Applications

FRIATEC manufacture single terminal and multi-terminal feedthroughs, with a standard product range and a wide variety of customized components. Minimum outgassing and leakage rates, combined with excellent levels of electrical insulation and thermal resistance, ensure the highest degree of reliability.

The feedthroughs can be manufactured with convolutions in order to increase the surface leakage path. This allows a higher voltage rating without significantly increasing the overall size. External glazing of the components improves both handling and surface cleaning procedures.

All feedthroughs are routinely tested for vacuum tightness before despatch: He leakage rate: < 10-9 mbar l/s.
